Community Guidelines
AI & Sync brings people together at real events, in the same room, on the same night. That makes it different from an app you use alone at home — what you do here happens in front of people you are about to meet in person.
These guidelines are part of our Terms & Conditions. Breaking them can cost you your photos, your place at an event, or your account.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
That is the rule, stated plainly. We remove content and remove people, and we do it whether or not anyone has complained.
You must be 18 or over
AI & Sync is for adults. We ask for your date of birth before you can build a profile and we refuse anyone under 18. Lying about your age gets the account removed permanently.
If you believe a minor is using the service, report it immediately. We treat those reports ahead of everything else.
Your photos must be you
- Real, recent photos of yourself. Not a celebrity, not a friend, not a picture you found.
- No nudity, no sexual content, no images of a sexual act.
- No photos of other people who have not agreed to be there — especially not children.
- No violence, weapons, or drug use.
- The selfie you take at an event exists so people can recognise you tonight. Faking it defeats the point and gets you removed.
Your words are read by strangers
Your bio, prompts and event notes are visible to everyone in the room. Do not post:
- slurs or hate speech about race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender or sexuality;
- sexual solicitation, escort or paid-companionship offers;
- threats, harassment, or anything sexual involving a minor;
- other people's private information.
Phone numbers, emails, social handles and links are removed automatically. Not to be difficult — that route is how scams and spam reach people here. Swap details in person once you have actually met.
At the event
- No means no, immediately and without discussion.
- A match is not consent to anything.
- Do not follow, corner or pressure anyone.
- Do not photograph or film people without asking.
- If someone has set themselves to in conversation, heading out or away, take it at face value and leave them be.
A compatibility score says nothing about whether someone is safe. It compares answers to questions. We do not run background checks, we do not verify identity documents, and we do not verify anything anyone says about their job, their education or their relationships. Meet in public, tell someone where you are, and leave whenever you want to.
If you feel unsafe at an event, tell the host or venue staff — they are physically present and they can act immediately. In an emergency, call your local emergency number first, then report it to us.
Reporting
Every profile has Report and Block. Blocking is instant, mutual and global: you disappear from each other in every event, and any match between you is undone. Unblocking restores visibility but does not restore the match.
Reports go to the event host and to our moderation team. We aim to review every report within 24 hours and act on it — removing content, removing the person from the event, or banning the account. Our decision overrides the host's.
You can see every report you have filed, and the host's response once it is resolved, in Settings → My reports.
You will not be told exactly what happened to someone else's account.
If we take action against you
If we remove your content, remove you from an event, or suspend your account, we will tell you what was removed, which rule it broke, and how to appeal. You can appeal any decision, including one made by an automated check.
Decisions made by our team override a host's. A ban for a child-safety breach is permanent and is not subject to reinstatement.
What we do automatically
Photos and text are checked automatically before they reach anyone else. Some content is refused outright, some is edited (contact details), and anything borderline is sent to a person to look at. Automated checks are not perfect — they miss things and they occasionally catch the wrong thing, which is why reporting matters and why every automated decision can be appealed.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, write to support@aiandsync.com from the email address on the account. Include what was removed and when. We will look again.
